any plans for co op/multiplayer?
the demo was fun and i’m excited for the full release. just wondering if there are any plans for co op, would definitely buy for friends if there was

edit: someone lock this thread, idk. it was just a question and the devs have already answered. they know people are interested, it's just up to them if they feel like making it a reality.

also it's pretty obvious some people have never actually played a game with friends before. wtf kind of solution is "uhhh you can just both play a single player game at the same time and it's like the exact same thing duhh.." or "all of my friends just stand there and do nothing while i do all the work, idk why anyone would ever want multiplayer" that last one just means you and your friends don't like each other because actual friends do enjoy playing games together

Not yet, but a lot of people ask for it... so we might consider it again

Without multiplayer there's just straight up no reason to play this over Visceral Cleanup Detail or Powerwash Simulator.

pls add multiplayer! It'd be so great to be able to play with friends in this game!

wow this forum moves fast...

these games are nice little time wasters while you chat with your buddy. i guess thats why i like them coop

games like these just absolutely need coop. I watched XQC play this, and seemed like yeah you'd want additional person helping you out for sure. even if its just duo game that's so much more better than solo. least you got someone helping you bring stuff to truck or smtn while the other does the cleaning, then you can swap roles or w/e ...

Well, to be honest, I played also Visceral Cleanup Detail, and from gameplay side of things, VCD is much more tedious for playing than Crime Scene Cleaner. One of things that really annoys me in VCD is that for example, you have to pick up bullets from the floor, shell by shell. Like, how did developers thought that is acceptable? Those are small tiny objects, and it is so incredible you have no way of either vacuum clean them, or just make cleaning them possible like it is implemented in CSC.

the whole point of vcd was to be annoying for the player to play. its how the game was marketed. it was never meant to be taken seriously.

crime scene cleaner is more of an actual game, well, more of a toy or a puzzle really. this game is going to be more of a cross between power washer simulator and vcd

I'm planning to but it with my friend if it becomes co-op. Really excited for it!

friend and I have been playing this since it was added to game pass recently and would definitely love for it to be multiplayer! I've seen its been a while since it was mentioned so I hope that its still a possibility.

and yet again more people wanting multiplayer in a single player when it's not necessary... you wanna play with a buddy? literally nothing stopping you guys from playing the same game while in a party with them.... instead of begging for a mechanic that will just add more stress and more work unto the dev's shoulders then they already have....

you're acting like people are constantly rioting and sending death threats to the devs for multiplayer. the developers of crime scene cleaner are not losing sleep over a steam thread talking about multiplayer.

I always imagine that one person plays and the rest watch in the game as one person does the “work”.

There are so many multiplayer games and very often they don't get a single player and then they always come crawling to single player games and scream for coop.

I hope the game and a possible successor stay single player.

just about every single player game I own I see people expecting multiplayer... just because it CAN be added doesn't mean it always should.... the people expecting it to become a thing clearly don't realise the time, money, sweat and tears that would go into making any single game multiplayer... it's not like hitting a switch dude it takes WAY more time and they already are struggling to put out the second act as well as DLC.... Is it nice to play with friends? Yes. Can I keep playing alone if I chose? Yes. Do I want to wait even LONGER for new maps for this game because the devs wind up trying to shoehorn co-op into this game when its really not needed? No.

what is this reply even for? what part of what i said is even related at all?
"you're acting like people are constantly rioting and sending death threats to the devs for multiplayer." well are they? are people doing that??? if they are then that's not the fault of asking about multiplayer, that's entirely a different problem
"the developers of crime scene cleaner are not losing sleep over a steam thread talking about multiplayer." are they actually losing sleep over this ♥♥♥♥? if they are, then they got problems and need some therapy for it. because the easiest thing to do is just ignore it and just continue working.
i don't give a ♥♥♥♥ if you're upset about people asking if there is or isn't multiplayer, it's just a question that can easily be ignored
