affair with death missing furniture

for some reason the game is saying i need to put back 21 pieces of furniture on the first level when i swear it use to be 20 and now i can't find this missing piece. nothing is showing up when i use the senses and no recent walkthroughs show 21 pieces of furniture either

20 turning in to 21 happens when a piece of furniture is already in place at the start of the level. When you pick it up, it turns into missing furniture, so 20 becomes 21 in this case.
When I had trouble finding missing furniture, I picked up every piece and put it back on the green backdrop.
Sometimes you bump into a chair which turns it into missing furniture, but you can't really tell by looking at it or using your senses, since its visually perfectly overlapping the red backdrop.
Bit tedious to pick up and put down every piece of furniture, but it should fix the missing piece.
If it does not, start looking in less obvious places, like a chair hanging from a ceiling lamp or something like that.

Ah, good points. I noticed this on the Werehouse level and some containers on the shelf in the sorting room. A bit tedious.
