Vanishing Body Bug

So I'm in the very first job. I didn't see a 'Pickup Body' key in the controls list, so I kept trying to grab it with LMB or Interact. At some point I managed to hold LMB or RMB and managed to pick it up. (Later, in the codex, I saw the keys you need.) Anyhow I was trying to carry the body to my car. I went out the window, onto the fire escape because I thought it would be quicker. When I got down the the next level, I didn't see any way down. I wasn't sure I could make it to jump over the railing. I tried to put the body down and punch what I thought was a boarded up window maybe. Instead the body just popped into thin air. Gone, never to be seen again.

When I found the second body, I was more careful and I took it to the car the long way. Then I tried to toss it into my car and it too popped into nothing.

When I tried to grab the third body, I somehow dropped it immediately and it popped on the floor. I kept trying to find these bodies and I got lucky once. The thrid body had reappeared at the bottom of the ladder into the attic, but behind it. I was able to pick it up and get it to my car. This time I had to jump into the car's bed and throw the body onto the bed. I landed on the bed and then popped away, being replaced by a body bag.

I have gone over the entire zone, as far as I can access. My Cleaner Vision cannot spot a green body outline anywhere. I can't find them, so I can't complete the job.

I had this happen once. Put a body in the car and it disappeared. Had to restart the mission.

Yeah, starting over seemed like it might work, but it was the last thing I wanted to do. I was hoping there might be a solution that didn't involve me replaying the entire game, so far.

From a programming point of view, I'm pretty sure the bug is in the code that replaces the body with a body bag. I watched a couple of Youtubers play this game and their bodies didn't turn into bags at all. That must be a new thing. New code is where bugs tend to be...

I finally got tired of waiting and replayed the mission. Just to be certain I didn't waste my time again, I just jogged through the mission areas to the bodies. I loaded them all first, to make sure they stuck in the bags. I was super careful to jump into the truck bed before trying to toss them. Once all three of them were in, it mostly went ok. I did finish the mission, but there were some glitchy quest meters along the way.

In the attic, the Wipe Blood Quest seems to include some of the blood on the lower floor. Possibly the blood that dripped down from above. I had to clean the floor at the bottom of the ladder before I could finish the attic. (Since I was in the attic when I got the last body, I decided to start at the top and work my way down.)

When I was removing the Blood Paintings, It stayed at 0% until I broke the last painting. That last painting had 5 pieces and each one gave me 20% of the quest. The first five paintings did nothing for the quest.

The Attic kept the 'Dispose of Trash Bags' quest until I finished with all the trash from the lower apartment. I had to run back upstairs to check and see that it finally went away.
