Bucket Skill tree? How?

So during the bucket skill tree at the bottom of the tree there is the perk of Alchemist
"25% detergent boost if you don't use the same detergent in bucket"
but at the moment I cant put 2 of the same detergent in the bucket anyway? Unless they are talking about being in the same category of detergents (clean and strength) which when forced to take the skill above the alchemist (giving you 3 detergents per bucket) makes it impossible not to have 2 of the same type...... Am I missing something?

Got ya. Confused me when they said "not the same detergent" as you cant actually put the same detergent in twice

I want to bump this. You CAN put the same detergent in a bucket multiple times, but only if you have Alchemy selected. You know, the perk that specifically rewards you for not doing that. I've tried this multiple times, and I'd love to know if it's the same with other people because it's completely ass-backwards.

i never used the counterpart to alchemy
but i was able to put the same twice in a bugged before unlocking any of these 2.
