police
I saw a video one time where police officers are standing around and you have to avoid them?

was this also taken out like the timer was?

There are no timers or police. This idea didn't appeal to most players, and we also felt that this type of gameplay didn't suit us.

We abandoned it to achieve better gameplay pacing. Perhaps this is something we will return to in the future if the players express interest in it :)

In the future you could try to incorporate the police in one of your challenges you were talking about in the other topic as a test and see what the feedback is :)

I think no time limit + no enemies is probably the way to go for cleaning games like this and viscera. They are meant to be relaxing (even if that sounds a little bit morbid).

Absolutely, that's why it should be optional challenges only IF they decide to make them.

I think enemies would be okay if it's done well and is a rare occurrence. We could always use the pressure washer to scare away anything small that wants to bite the MC. Melee against thugs who might try to steal from the MC on a job (ex. his truck).

I wouldn't want a time limit unless it is a short job. One body, quick clean up, very little furniture to restore. It's too much stress if there's a large crime scene to clean during a time limit.

If this game was to add hiding as a mechanic, it would have to be used sparingly. A dangerous gang member could be avoided by hiding in a locker for a story mission. Then realise when he hasn't found anyone alive, he could leave. I wouldn't want it to be an ongoing thing during a mission. But from a story perspective, it could be interesting.

Also as someone pointed out, there could be a challenge mode that uses hiding from threats as a challenge. As well as timers.

Ah that explains it. I remember sneaking past police being in the trailer, and I was curious why I never encountered it in the game after I beat it (I assumed, since Id been spotted in the intel for the last mission, that the police would be at my house and Id have to sneak in)
Ah well :) Still fun. (and one location taking 2 hours... yeah please dont rush me xD)
