We abandoned it to achieve better gameplay pacing. Perhaps this is something we will return to in the future if the players express interest in it :)
I wouldn't want a time limit unless it is a short job. One body, quick clean up, very little furniture to restore. It's too much stress if there's a large crime scene to clean during a time limit.
If this game was to add hiding as a mechanic, it would have to be used sparingly. A dangerous gang member could be avoided by hiding in a locker for a story mission. Then realise when he hasn't found anyone alive, he could leave. I wouldn't want it to be an ongoing thing during a mission. But from a story perspective, it could be interesting.
Also as someone pointed out, there could be a challenge mode that uses hiding from threats as a challenge. As well as timers.
Ah well :) Still fun. (and one location taking 2 hours... yeah please dont rush me xD)
