Nightmare Beta Unlocks

Do I need to do both challenge mode and nightmare mode to get the unlocks? Or if I just do the harder difficulty will I get both?

need to do both challenge modes. if you click on each location and click on their nightmare and true cleaner section, it will show you what you will unlock. granted, some are buggy like the black hole and the other item in the same category for the waste bucket.
