I'm experiencing the same.
It says Nightmare on Steam, the start screen looks nightmary, but the nightmare isn't nightmaring on the maps. They're just the normal missions from the base game.

Short edit: I tried starting a new save game to see if pressing "continue" was the issue. Now the main menu is bck to the normal screen, even after re-starting the game with Steam saying nightmarebeta.

I have the same I have that little beta but I don't notice anything in the game then I hope they release the nichtmari update soon

From the discord:

'You need a save that has the story completed, all 10 levels.

Then when you go to the truck and select a level you'll have the option to pick Nightmare and True Cleaner.'

Go to your truck and select a previously played map and you should see the options for nightmare and true cleaner.

After you finish the game once there are tabs you can click on when you select a level. I use a controller and I highlighted the nightmare tab and pressed A but that didn’t work for me. I had to click on the tab with my mouse for it to change to nightmare mode.
