Not soon enough haha I saw there was an update for the game today and got my hopes up but it was just some bug fixes (sigh).

yea i saw and got excited and then disappointed again. really hoping its around the corner or this week or something!
They didn't give a date. They did say this update is taking longer than the others are going too and the reason it's taking so long is they want to make sure we don't have to wait as long for the next update(s?)

I'm really excited for the update but I am trying to be patient and give them time to make sure everything works and fix bugs and stuff like that. I don't want them to rush.

dlc?
its called a gameupdate.
dlcs are inferior and weird.
and too many devs use them to milk playerbases.

gameupdates are the way to go.

Think they're using DLC to mean *paid* DLC.

And, by that metric, a free update is definitely better than a paid DLC.

Not too sure that it is going to just be an update. They are working on New Acts, New Missions and New Maps to visit. Yes it would be great if all of that were FREE in an update, but from a Dev Point of View, it wouldn't be efficient or profitable. I have no problems paying for a quality DLC because these Devs are not doing this for free!!

They've already stated these will all be free updates in a blog post - title is Post-Launch Free Update Roadmap that was posted in August 2024. There might be paid DLC later but what they're working on right now is part of the free updates which includes the challenge modes, a location a community member submitted in a contest they held, and Act II parts 1 & 2.

if ur game is well made, a paid content-dlc is never the efficient or profitable thing in the long run.

i look forward to the free post launch gameupdates coming soon.
and i dont care for soundtracks or skins or other NONE-content dlcs, go for it.
