Not having mod support/workshop is such a missed chance

This game could easily have become an evergreen if there could be player created maps.
On the roadmap is a challenge mode (which I honestly don't care about) and some new levels in the far future, but no mod support.
But with mod support, we could have, and create, new levels now. Of course, if people would create levels, but I think many would want to,

Imagine cleaning up the command deck of a sister ship of the enterprise after Klingons boarded. Or a space ship after they had an Alien infestation with an added mechanic of having to grab a new mop every now and then because of the acid blood. Cleaning up nakatomi plaza after mclane went through, this time for the police. Mad sicentist acidenally shrunk down his party guests to mouse size and couldn't undo it before the cat got to them, so he shrinks you to clean up (I always loved miniature levels)
Ah, I'm dreaming. Would've been cool.
