Unclickable trash hidden under furniture
I am like 95% finished with chapter 8, currently cleaning the cafeteria. Unfortunately, a piece of trash is hidden under a couch which I can't move. I can't select the trash item while holding the trash bin... In addition, I can't reach the item with the pressure washer because it is too far away.
Any ideas for a 100% score without restarting the mission?
Due to the stupid autosave system on the same save slot I can't load a proper save.

I had a look at the backup savegames, no benefit here. The last backup is before leaving chapter 8, so it'd be the same as restarting chapter 7...great news.

I haven't gotten that far, but have you tried angling at 45 degrees in whichever direction and using a mop? Maybe you can "push" it out?

I made it...
The mob could not reach that far, the couch is placed unmovable in a 90 degree corner. I used a proper item from the mission to do some ragdolling under the couch, after 10 minutes I was finally able to pick the trash item up.
A better solution to situations like these should be made possible.

The game has a bit of tolerance when it comes to getting 100%, when close to 100 for blood the blood in that area all vanishes so you don't really notice this. Trash cannot do that though. if your a couple percent away from 100 in 1 room you can get away with completing the mission and still getting 100% trash even though you missed some (at least in the bigger maps can't speak for the smaller ones).

Same thing happened to me in the cafeteria but it was upstairs by the bottles under a chair a piece of trash clipped through the floor. I was worried but ended the mission anyway and it gave me full credit for 100% even though I was 98% in that room.

Doubt there's a tolerance for moving furnishings though.

Community Beta Tester here.

You should use Sponges when cleaning stains that are near pickup-able garbage items to prevent it from getting stuck, going underneath furniture you can't reach.

Another solution is to try using a Mop or Pressure Washer to nudge it out but it might make it worse.

I hope this helps!
