Lost a body in art museum

I was cleaning the loft of the beige room in the art museum. I tried to drop the body off the loft a couple times and it kept staying in the loft. I think I eventually managed to throw the body because I CANNOT find it. I’ve gone through all the adjoining rooms so many times and it’s not included in my total body count. Is there anything I can do? Any ideas where this body could’ve gone? 😭

If you're unlucky, might have clipped through the ceiling and wound up outside the map. Unfortunately the only way to know that would be if the devs got a copy of your save file and could decode the location out of it.

A weird bounce might have made it wind up draped on one of the pieces of midair furniture in the red room, and it's easy to forget to look up sometimes.

Maybe you DID get it to the floor and stashed it, but mistook it for a body from another location. Though if that were the case, thoroughly searching all rooms should turn up whichever other body you missed. The one most likely to forget after the one in the yellow loft would probably be the one deep in the glass maze (part of the North exhibit section), or maybe the one hanging out of the upper-level door in the Illusion of Choice section.

Thank you for your comment! I tried to move on but it’s killing me, lol. I’ve been cleaning the red room so I know it’s not on the furniture. I keep looking up after that party where the chair was on the ceiling lamp, lol. I know I had two bodies bagged before I started the beige room and I’m still at 2. I just can’t decide if I restart now or if I keep going and hope I magically find it.
