Kovalsky Cleans House?! (Not click bait)

I just wanted to point out the smallest littlest detail that I absolutely love about this game, and it's that it seems so far, that as you progress throughout the game, Kovalsky seems to be getting better (Mental health wise, I'd like to think) and how it's shown through the cleanliness of his home!!

I noticed that when you first start out, the entire home seems to be in shambles, there's bottles everywhere, trash laid around carelessly, and uncleaned dishes not taken care of. As you progress, and as he starts to get his money up, it's almost as if he's taken a turn for the better with every day.

Now I don't know if it's just a design choice or if it really is supposed to convey something, but it wouldn't shock me if it's used as a narrative piece to show us how his state of mind is without directly telling us.

I think it's really cool and I just needed to tell someone who knew the game like I did

Yesss, this was honestly one of my favorite parts of the game! I loved checking out Kovalsky's apartment after each job and seeing what had changed, where he had cleaned up, what improvements he had made, any renos he'd started to undertake. It was fantastic seeing him slowly turn his house into a home, and I especially loved seeing him give Elena's room a makeover in seeming preparation for her getting to eventually return home from the hospital. (Minor spoiler there for how the apartment continues to change throughout the game, hidden just in case you haven't gotten that far yet. )

Yeah, it's pretty cool. At the beginning I thought I might be able to clean it myself, kind of like you can clean your office in Viscera Cleanup Detail.

But thats also a neat way to do it.
