Smooth Operator Achievement

I beat the game and finishing up all achievements. I got one left which is the "Smooth Operator" one. I have done the mission where you clean up three dead bodies of the daughter who fell in love with the wrong guy and her body is in the tub. I only used the sponge and 100% the whole area several times, with no marks or stains. Is anyone else having issue getting this achievement? I also have the skills in the skill tree where I don't leave any marks when using the tools, or leaving footprints.

I got it to 100% clean and then knocked over the mop bucket as I was picking up my equipment and it left that blood stain behind. Upon trying to clean it, the highest I could get it was 99%. I think it left a blood smudge somewhere I couldn't see or reach, but I am not 100% sure. Maybe something like that is happening for you as well

got it on the tyler map only with double sponge.

I got it on the first map on a fresh save file, as it's it's really small map to finish, but since I did it on a fresh save file, I had no skills, with skills it'll be a breeze

So I finally got it by doing Tyler's Friendly Fire. For some odd reason Toxic Love stage wouldn't pop up for me even if I didn't make any mess. Thanks for the help folks =)

I had issues with this achievement on this mission. I think it may have something to do with the body upstairs dripping blood? I tried again on a different mission and it unlocked.

It didn't pop for me also on the Toxic Love stage, seems indeed something off with that level

I think there's an issue where it doesn't track what you break or spill when you load from a save file

I believe the reason it does not pop up for Toxic Love stage is the body on the railing is dripping blood, so it auto disqualifies. I also tried that for getting this achievement and had the same problem.

I just redid the first mission, took 13 minutes and got it.

I got it for toxic love! You just need to prioritize cleaning a path up to the body before cleaning the blood directly under! Hope this helps!

No, it didn't. I had to use another map.

Just got Smooth Operator on Toxic Love, which is IMO the easiest level to do so on.

The key is to not clean anything near the blood dripping from the body hanging from the railing. The blood drips will not count as a mess unless you clean the floor and allow new ones to form. Clean a path to the left around it, up the stairs, and to the body, and then dispose of the body before doing anything else.

And of course, use the sponges anywhere that breakables exist and don't create any footprints.

To get this you have to make no extra messes, leave no footprints, don't tip the bucket over, and don't accidentally break anything.

You basically have to do a perfect run.

I believe, according to my unlock stats and time, I was doing The Italian Job for the first time, 100%'d it and got the this cheevo at the same time.

Upgrades that really help with this are; dirty tools don't leave stains and the upgrade that makes you no longer leave footprints. Also not going willy nilly with the power washer and take your time.

I just wanted to leave a comment in case someone else is wondering the same: Kicking over the bucket with clean water you just filled will not create any stain, so it will not nullify the achievement.

If you kick over a bucket, just use the cleaner sense to make sure no stain was created; if you did, then the achievement won't pop after the mission.
