Goblin Cleanup & Viscera 2 it is then. I have no idea why a dev would detract easy sales. So far the only thing I have seen to a developer response is it would cut the game in half. How is that a bad thing? You would be making a sale where otherwise you wouldn't. This doesn't stop Viscera from being a good game just because an extra amount of people could help you clean. There's so few games that exist to capitalize on this, it's Power Wash, Viscera and that's it right now. With only those 2 upcoming games to my knowledge.
It doesnt matter if "other games" got the same topic or not.
This is the route the Dev wanted to go with the game and thats what you are getting.
If you like it perfect buy it, and if you dont like it its also perfect dont buy it.
Its that simple
Can it still have co-op? Yes, but it will be necessary to add at least one new game mode, similar to a sandbox.
Enjoy the game and just wait for the roadmap, there may be a lot of good things to come in the future
It is possible that this title was made to finance the production of something similar that could be multiplayer. If you like it, stay tuned into the developers site and news and maybe they’ve got a bun in the oven. Lol
Gonna check out that goblin game for sure didn’t know about that one!
Why keep a game single-player for no reason when adding co-op could give players more options? People have friends who would want to join in on the experience. As for the story mode, co-op can be implemented in ways that don’t take away from the narrative. Plenty of games balance solo play and co-op seamlessly. Whether it’s splitting up tasks or working together in more interactive ways, it could only enhance the gameplay.
All in all, adding co-op could elevate the experience without taking anything away for those who prefer playing solo.
Now co-op wouldn't change my game, some would say, but it would cut the duration dramatically and then people would pop complaining it's too short, hurting the game. In addition, features are development time, and I'd rather see the dev use that time for more future content than an irrelevant feature. Or rather, if co-op was implemented, it'd be more consistent to have it for a future campaign designed with that idea - even mandatory co-op would make sense in that case.
Co-op is pointless in this game.
