1- I'd like to be able to see how much water is left in the power washer when it is equipped, I didn't like being surprised by having no water left. It wasn't a huge deal, but it seems like it would make things easier a bit.
2- Whenever I tried to use the "Q" button to see what was still left, it wouldn't work until I had pressed it several times. I even tried pressing and holding but it was still very sporadic on when it would work.
3- I would love to be able to carry more than one garbage bag at a time. It feels tedious to have to run all the way to the truck for one bag, especially as we have to bring the bodies as well.
All in all, i loved the game though! I haven't been as engaged with a game since Power Wash Sim! Well done!
Playing on Intel ARC graphics, the game freezes or outright crashes if in fullscreen a minute or so after launching. Doesn't matter what I'm doing. Crashed whilst reading the "Welcome" text, crashed twice in intro. Audio continues to play if it freezes but doesn't play any further audio cues. Just finishes the one it's on or loops it. Tried changing some settings real quick but did nothing.
Since the VCD idea of knocking over your own mop bucket is there, I expected more of those whoopsie moments.
Anyway, it was pretty good and I wishlisted, but why didn't we have to refill the pool? Seems pretty suspicious to me.
I've taken an example screenshot and linked it here: https://steamcommunity.com/id/deathhancox/screenshot/2148838462917268250/

I did find this possible bug? I had already cleaned the downstairs but saw in the reflection as if it had not been cleaned yet. Like a memory of the house, or something lol

-Don't give up so much info up front. It's more fun (IMO) for the crime boss to be like "This is the address. Five bodies. Leave no trace." than to explain what happened - you did all these little environmental storytelling pieces to let us put together exactly why these folks got murdered, but since we already knew what happened, it just felt like repeating what we already knew.
-Same idea - don't give us a picture of the dude tortured in the basement. Let us discover him, it has way more impact.
-This might already be in the works, but I recommend adding an option to toggle how hand-holding the player wants the "to do" list to be. Since it was reminding me to throw away trash, pick up what I broke (a feature I love, btw), where to clean, etc, it was a little too checklist-y. I would have preferred to just be told "Clean the Scene. Collect 5 bodies. Collect evidence." and have those check off when they are completed, not broken down into sub-tasks. (But, since I think plenty would like the detailed list, have it as a toggle-able option).
-Hard to tell how the suspicion meter feature will work, only being able to do one mission, so I wasn't able to really judge how much of a risk I would be taking stealing. I am not sure if this is the case, but I think it would make sense for "hidden" valuables (like the cash stash in the hidden basement room) to not add to suspicion (as a reward for finding hidden caches), but obvious valuables like the cash in the house, jewelry, laptops, etc to raise it.
-The power washer was the clunkiest to use. I think it would make a lot more sense to have it equip when you pull it out (like have the character be holding the sprayer) and, while holding the sprayer, be able to go up to a water source and refill it, without pulling the whole device out and setting it down. I know this is technically a little less "realistic", but it would make the process flow SO much easier. As it is, pulling the whole device out and setting it down and refilling it and grabbing it again etc was so awkward I just used the mops instead.
-It really bothered me that I couldn't turn the pool pumps back on to refill the pool with clean water. Wouldn't it be suspicious that the pool was emptied with all these toys in it?
-BUG: "X" to collect didn't work, but I still seemed to grab the items when I backed out of dialogue.
TL;DR: Let us discover the crime by cleaning it through environmental clues, keep the power washer equipped so we don't have to set it down, reward the player with some steal-able items not raising suspicion, and let players toggle how hand-hold-y they want the to-do list to be.
I accidentally put too much power behind a throw and now I cannot get one of my garbage bags. One bad throw kind of ruins a run.
1 There is no need for haste. Accounting for the time spent is needed, a strict restriction will spoil a lot. At least a mode without a timer
2. Theft. The dude needs money, the dead don't. And it's understandable when he steals jewelry or evidence, but a wad of money from a laundry basket? Why can't a murder be turned into a robbery or even an urgent move? Remove personal belongings from the house, stick a sign "For Sale" in front of the entrance... Please refine this point. And why can't I steal a laptop with notes? The dude is a cleaner, not a hacker. On the other hand, the thief's capabilities would not hurt him. Breaking into a safe or at least opening locks. Yes, at least a gadget for breaking a combination lock. It's not his first time in business and he could have prepared. Fiddling with fuses is necessary, but only if you are not sufficiently prepared.
3. We have a crime scene cleaning. Why does the dude only wash and arrange? That's enough for a good game. It can add more features, for example, to patch up bullet holes in the wall. A little putty and paint.
4. It's better for a dude to carry body bags with him to pack bodies on the spot. So that there are no questions why they don't leave bloody prints.
5, The ability to screw. Leave your footprints. And not just the forgotten trash in the bag or the body. for example, if a painting is processed from a sink, it will cease to be a painting, and strong detergents leave traces.
6. A bag for stolen goods.
7. One-click item throws
8. Working switches. for example, you can't turn on the overhead light in a gamer's room
9. Vacuum cleaner for sleeves and other small debris.
10. More black humor and randomness.
