can someone explain to me how to give items to caravans?

i think i understand how to send them to a place, but they shoudn't go empty handed, my question is, how do i put stuff on them? there is a buttom for their storage, but just their storage appears, not mine, how am i supposed to load stuff into them? am i missing something?

can someone please explain this to me? like how to load caravans with stuff?

Hey! You can't load items into caravan directly from your ship, you need to select a place (island you own or a trade post) and take goods from there (the load / unload option appears after you click on an island with a storage).

The process to load items on caravan ships is very confusing and unclear, I've been trying to understand how to do this for 10 minutes now and still don't get it. You might want to clarify this for future players.

I know this post is old, but I don't understand how to load my caravans either. I click on "Plot Caravan Routes" and then "Ship Storage", but no other inventory opens to put anything in there. I try to deliver apple juice and bread to the inns and this is really frustrating.

Sorry about the confusion: you need to click on the island that has the storage, then use "load / unload" option. Ship storage is used just to check caravan ship contents

I still can't find out how to do it. I clicked on every single building and I can't find any load/unload option. Could you tell me exactly where that option is supposed to be?

Basically go to caravan office, select the caravan, then go through "New Action -> Select Island -> Load Cargo"
