Not loading into VR

Every time I try playing, it doesn't take me into vr the games main menu just opens on my monitor. I have tried to fix this multiple times, but it never works. Does anyone know how to fix this because I love this game, and I used to play it on my brothers PC.

I did not at the time, I thought I did though. I ended up fixing the issue but thank you for responding.

hi, how did you fix it? I have the exact same problem with my oculus quest 2. I'm using airlink and when launching the game from the oculus dashboard both steamVR and the game starts on my monitor but not on the headset.

The only way to play i've found so far was to launch steamVR first and then the game after

Hello, to be honest for me the problem was just not having steam vr installed, and I am generally a noob to pc gaming, so I'm not sure if I can really help because I also use cable, but my best guess would probably be to reinstall steam vr, but I don't really know. The way I launch is through steam, sorry if this isn't much help but thats all I can really think of. I hope this helps at least a little bit
