Ripping off heads

Hey all

I've noticed that a lot of the times heads seem kinda inconsistant on whether they rip off or not. While this would make sense on say, opponents with armor keeping their head and shoulders attached, but I feel like I can either rip off an unarmored opponent's head off in one tug or 20. Is there something to it? Am I missing something?

Side note, does whacking chainmailed enemies with a kanabo do anything? I feel like I've gone to town on those guys and they just don't die. Can their helmets only be broken and not their bodies?

Putting one hand on the top of the enemy's head and the other on the shoulder joint will make the process easier.

Do you have to hold down the trigger or a specific button to rip heads off because I can't do that on oculus. Or have they not implemented it yet into the quest 3?
