I had a good amount of luck with the morgenstern to the head... took like 10 ish blows, no potions :D

When blocking it's important to remember to keep the weapon well away from your body and use a HEAVY weapon so it doesn't get all knocked around.

Flanged mace to the head. Also, try slashing at his stomach

(also, ice slowing him down allows you to get a lot of hits in. Also, just let him swing, then punish him, dark souls style.) Just realized this is a year old....

Use a twohanded weapon and hit him in the head a couple of times. And stay away when he is swinging. No problemo. Is the boss made with some from the company in mind by the way? The orator says that he is the owner of this game or something like that.

I personally have found that longer weapons fare better as you can do large amounts of damage while keeping farther from his Eveningstar mace. The Bastard Sword, Longsword and Claymore should all do fine, and while this boss originally gave me the most trouble, a few Hardcore weapons make him *much* easier

I am having SO much trouble with this boss in the boss rush mode in wave like 24 or 25 I think I forgot which one, mainly because I can only move forward with my broken joystick, so I cannot even begin to dodge his attacks

I used war darts. Took about 40 throws, but I killed him without getting hit.
