No Sound

I get sound through my Vive earbuds all the time, this game is the only one not making any sound right now, probably a computer settings problem. Anyone know something I can try?

I had the same problem after the latest update,after i restarted my pc and vive it was ok,

This happens due to loss of focus on the application. Just tab on the screen.

I have the same problem, to fix it i go into the steam vr menu, go to the desktop tab, then click on the application, and that fixes the sound for me.

It is enough to return focus to the screen (go to the desktop tab).

I have a Laptop which makes everything a little bit weird with fullscreen. When i tab on the game it gets my vr headset out of fullscreen. Means there is sound but nothing to see. When i am tabed into the second screen (my vr headset) i see the game and me moving etc. but no sound. is there a way to turn on music while you are not tabed into the game?

Hard to say. We did not test our game in a similar situation. This problem you specified does not apply directly to the game. This is problem of Steam VR work. This will manifest itself in any game.

had to restart the game, after that when focus not lost on game window, sound finally started to working. never happened before in any other game for me. on other games that game that controls not worked ingame that i had to set focus on PC desktop back to game and started to working, yes that happened on few, but never with sound... anyway working now, enjoying game.

Hello, man, actually solution the same. You need to focus the game, by touchscreen, mouse, touchpad, doesn't matter. Just SteamVR sometimes runs the game and doesn't set focus to it. Also you can try Alt + Tab to switch windows, maybe this can also help. Thank you!

I have the save problem as the other guy i have a laptop and sound doesn't come through and when you click on the game or try to focus the application it doesn't work it just exits the full screen so your solution of just clicking on the window does not work i know asking you to fix this would obviously be difficult and not a top priority but if we could get some kind of actually fix for this that would be great.
