This is on sale...but why not some of the older games?/Ransom of 7 Ships removed from Steam?

I usually buy a Nancy Drew game or two each Steam sale in order of release, but now those aren't on sale. This newest one is, though.

Also, when I was looking up the next game I needed to buy, I noticed that Ransom of the Seven Ships is no longer for sale on Steam for some reason. I already have that one, but I wonder if anyone knows why?

Didn't hear about its removal. What a shame. Hope it's reinstated eventually with like a content warning or something.

I really wish they'd add Stay Tuned for Danger on steam.

Check out Big Fish Games. They almost always have the Nancy Drew games on sale. I got most of them for $1-5 digitally. :)

Why are the games not as discounted as they were usually before? I know the company is struggling, but seems to be a bit steeper than before.

There was some racial controversy from one of the characters actions. He was in some kind of ethnic stereotype costume. Though it's possible that the game was removed from online stores because it was so badly resieved for other features, if you can believe it.
