Lurker is abolutely mega overpowered
At least comparing it to the other tier 3 bosses. This thing can kill any non-tank character in a single turn from anywhere in the map since can chain reel cards and them ultra combo in melee with the tentacles and himself; there is cover, but he can move too and its just a matter of time that he will one shot one of your characters really quick. Oh and he will ignore your tank and obsesively target your squishies, which will be hiding the entire combat to avoid getting reeled-insta destroyed combo.

Also, he seems to be able to spawn its tentacles ANYWHERE on the map, normally just adjacent to any damage dealer that tries to get some line of sight or distance to get in their attacks.

Trying to melee him also gets your tank eventually destroyed by combos with tentacles, so the strategy should be to tray and dispatch the tentacles with your melee far from the boss and DPS him with the other heroes. The problem with that is as said before, the boss insta killing ranged and magic characters at any time by reel and tentacle combo (they can attack and move at least more than once per turn).

Also the rules say that he will summon 1 or 2 tentacles if there is none in play; I have seen him summonning a third tentacle while being 2 already on the board.

Every other boss has its strenghts but can be managed by countering them; countering the situation described above its almost impossible if a little unlucky.

At least this is the way I feel every time I fight this thing and compare it to EVERY other boss and I'm going to play any other games for the moment, since I don't want to get to the end, face this thing and get frustrated.

With this I'm not saying the game is bad or that I don't like it, on the contrary I think it is really good, but this boss in particular I find it ridiculous.

For each of the final bosses, you can find a threat where somebody says they are too strong, sounds balanced to me.

The "cheesy" tactic here would be:
Shoot it from afar
(doing under 15% max health damage to avoid it burrowing)

Finish the turn stealthed/out of LoS
(so you don`t get Reeled)

Kill the Tentacles as they come closer
(always leaving 1 alive to avoid the double spawn)

????

He is pretty tough with the sudden damage he can dish out. He does not move though so try to use that to your advantage. Like others say, which you have to have kinda built for, deal good range damage while dealing with the adds. Other things I have done is if you don't have much range then build up good power card combinations for damage and defense. Stealth is pretty OP too with smoke bomb+, but that's a class specific ability granted.
