I've beaten them before, but used regroup on warlord, which is otherwise a rather lackluster card.

Yes, that was the card i was waiting for before they cut me into slices hahaha ^^
I just fought a big horde of these and dealt with them easier than I expected after I read their ability. Basically I just beefed up my heroes with a bunch of powers and other buffs like Inspire and that card that buffs all damage by 2 (Channeling I think it's called), and then I would just hit them with one big AoE attack from each character, then do it again on the next round. They were annoying though. This is on an Endless Odyssey though so I've had quite a while to build that party up with lots of draw and buffs, so they are basically smoking everything without taking damage...so far, lol

The Furys are completely unbalanced in my opinion, im kind really frustrated right now, lol. I was working thorugh a very good run in endless mode, it was about 800% in cataclysm, i thought my team was really balanced and strong, and i would be able to kill the goddess with five cards in her hand, my ultimate struggle. But then out of nowhere, a group of furys, beat my team up like it was nothing, they trhoug that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ice thing in everyone, like 8 stacks, got close, start weaken my partie and make then drop cards, and to make it impossible for me, one hit you get soul burn, it was a massacre, and my team was ridiculously strong. Should have a way to flee from batlle, or just bring the combinations of these enemies down, they are completely broken in my opnion. And yes, ive dealt with them before in many occasions, they were always annoing and disproportional to the other enemies.

Furies is a harder than average enemy.
Quite a nightmare for me in Arena face 6 of them at once.
I think the only tweak to Fury is remove their "weakness" shout.

Because this synergy too perfectly with their passive.

Try to imagine fighting 15 of them. Freezen your whole team in their first move, wich also affects the damage. And putting a lot of freeze stacks, wich also has sinergy with their melle damage card, one hit did 17 damage in one of my heroes.

It would be ok to deal with them, if you could pick your first hand, but at that point in the game your heroes all have +25 cards, you got to be lucky, in your first draw, maybe in your second too, to stand a chance.

I saw this thread yesterday, and I didn't have any idea what to expect. I ran into three of these furies today, and wow. I hope they get tuned down a little bit, at least. I beat them because I got a good draw with my assassin, and he was able to get his damage buffs up before they closed on me.

Freeze, weakness, expose, discard cards effect, and only being able to hit them one time with each character is just too much, I think. Even three of them was enough to make me sweat, even though I didn't lose anybody. They almost took out my warlord when most encounters don't even result in my guys taking damage. I can't imagine fighting 6, 10, or 15 as has been mentioned in this thread.

They're fine early on when you only meet 3-4, but when you meet them later and there's 8+ there's usually no option but defeat. Decks which work through repeated draws tend to fall down, especially ones with quick step, which becomes a dead card unless you buff move distance. The furies ability to stack discards, limiting your attacks to one per turn and crippling offensive and defensive debuffs that you can't realistically clear every turn tends to lead quickly to a terminal spiral.

The two strategies I've had any success with are use of the aggression card, as the damage appears not to trigger the limitation on attacks per round, and massive offensive buffs combined with attacks like chaos missiles, static discharge or barbaric blow that can really put the hurt on. Fearsome and intimidating shouts are as good as they always are, as is Earth grab, and can buy you an extra turn or two before defeat if you're lucky, which can just be enough if you can load in some massive damage in the first two turns to get the number back down to the managable 3-4 furies left.

I've been heavily leaning towards Warrior/Warlord/Elementalist to have any realistic prospect of beating them in endless, but even so almost all my endless runs have been lost to furies and almost all of my fury encounters (after the numbers get up) have ended my runs.
