I've contacted tech support and given them all the information that they requested, but they swear up and down that they can't replicate the issue.
I had issues with the Steam version myself and it got sorted out by calibrating my XBox compatible controller and enabling the XBox Controller configuration support both for Steam and for NSLT - despite my controller being a cheap compatible one and not a real XBox one. That workaround sorted the problem out for both SLT and NSLT.
On the other hand, the version I have on the Windows Store worked fine out of the box both with SLT and NSLT, with exactly the same cheap XBox-compatible controller.
The only way to try and help the developers find a solution is still getting in touch with support@playfulstudios.com to provide logs and specs - that will hopefully help them find the commonalities between the various cases and sort the problem out.
I had literally only three players getting in touch with the support email about the movement glitch on the Game Pass version, and only two of those provided the data I asked for to try and help the developers sort the problems out.
Tyvm, changing my resolution fixed the issue. It is a bummer that I can't use my native resolution but at least I can play it now.
I'm forwarding the information to the players that got in touch with the support address and of course, also pointing it out to the developers, hopefully this will help nailing the issue down to be patched.
In my case, changing the resolution to whatever and then switching back to native, also worked. Don't know if it'll work for you but it's worth giving it a shot...
I really wish this issue would have been addressed by the developers. It's been a problem since the first version of the game. And I still can't use the rumble feature because if I do it never stops once it's triggered once. The Lucky's Tale games are the ONLY ones with those kind of problems in my library (which is a shame since those are a lot of fun).
