No fullscreen? Also, OBS can't record it properly
Any way to enable fullscreen?
Also, can't get any usable recording with OBS, too much framedrops. Other games work fine, so it should be the game.

Try to set up OBS to record fullscreen and use the Sub Region section settings if you need to crop only the game to record

No fullscreen or resolution options on a PC game? What year is it?!

It's an IFI game. You shouldn't be surprised.

The game being in a 4:3 mode (or just not 16:9) is probably intentional. After all, it looks like they were really trying give off the feel of an 80's Arcade game

4:3 and fullscreen aren't mutually exclusive. Touhou is still played in 4:3 fullscreen, it's just that you have black bars on the left and right.

they added fullscreen today, doule click the window to enter and leave fullscreen. cheers.
also OBS is kinda crumym for recording stuff, it's a memory hog/

So fullscreen didn't solve the OBS problem. Still can't record anything decent, while other games work fine. Guess I'll have to look for another tool.

I do not own this nepnep game, but did you try both Game & Display Capture? Sometimes one works out smoother than the other for different games.

obs isn't that crummy if it lets me record basically everything at native 4k60 smoothly without any frame drops. nice to have all of those additional features for free too...

Thx! Display capture instead of game or window capture fixed it for me. Perfectly smooth now. I feel kinda dumb for not trying that out myself ..
