Game launched but doesn't react

Hello. I Installed the game and launched it, but when it invites me to press a button, nothing happens.

I tried a Xbox One controller and with the keyboard but nothing happens.

Any ideas ?

the "Monect Hid Device" may be the software I use to control my pc with androidphone , I will try to uninstall it and relaunch game...

What surprises me is that it affects several players.
What's even more surprising is that it breaks the keyboard (even though keyboard shouldn't be related to controllers).

Maybe the game only binds to one controller ? I can see the others peripherals on the Steam setting screen, but i really don't know what they are. Could be virtual inputs but i have no clues. https://puu.sh/F86sh/ccaabb9dab.png

hey bros, I get one solution.
I uninstall the Monect software entirely, and the tool "gamepad-tool" tell me ..

Searching gamepads...
No gamepads found

Then I launch the game and can play it !!!
However, the uninstall program of Monect seems not to clean entirely, I still remove some registry keys after uninstalling it. My friend has never installed Monect software, and he can play with his joystick.

No, just window mode (Steam controller settings force Big Picture).

Yeah ! That was it. Forgot that i had a remote app on my phone. Removing the PC Server solved it. The app can emulate a Xinput Controller.

Using this tool called... Monect (https://www.monect.com/) The server software wasn't very explicit. Kinda feel stupid right now.

Game launched and reacts. Can't way to give it a try !

So glad that it works!

I'll still be on the lookout if anyone else still has the problem and is not using Monect.

If there are any other software conflicting, I'll make a pinned post with the list and workarounds.

I solved my issue. I can play now with keyboard and controller.

You have to go to Steam settings - Controller - General controller settings and choose Xbox configuration and Gamepad configuration. Then you can start it and it works ...

I've also changed a configuration within Steam in regard to controllers. It may have helped.

Wanted to sound off on this as well. I had a Qanba Obsidian PS4 fight stick plugged into my computer when trying to play this.

Unplugged it, and it started working.
