If you can find the photos within the program it's simply a matter of removing the photos, enhancing them by using the latest software (eg: Topaz is an excellent choice) Then simply save the enhanced files back into the SJP folder.
Obviously upgrading the pixel count of a photo also increases the file size and I'm unsure if SJP can work with larger photos. The pixel count can be increased dramatically from the original. The visual effect is equally changed. I've personally taken a photo from hard to distinguish to something perfectly usable as a jigsaw puzzle. The joys of AI. Topaz also does an excellent job of removing noise from a photo. Plus it definitely doesn't require a bachelor degree in computing to use.
