Thanks a lot for the suggestions, we take note of them. We'd like to add in the future more options to adjust the difficulty to each player preferences.
Anyway, if you adjust the Snap Sensitivity to 0 it's pretty difficult to drop it on its place by pure chance. Check if that helps you with your game feeling ;-).
Thanks for playing!
But I hope you understand, if I'm putting down a piece to connect it to another piece that's already there... That is the only time the lock-in should happen, other than placing the corner pieces by themselves, just like a real jigsaw puzzle.
On a computer puzzle, it's way too easy for the player to take advantage of the always-lock "glitch" and get lazy. What I mean is, when the player gets frustrated, all they have to do is randomly click and drop the piece a dozen times until it locks. It completely takes all the fun out of figuring it out. You are no longer using your brain to solve the puzzle, which is the whole point of classic jigsaws.
I described my primary concern a little differently. I hope that helps.
Another suggestion : add the possibility to do 600 pieces puzzle. That would be really fun !!
for the edge pieces - i'd really like the option to have all the edge pieces mass transfer into middle of the puzzle box so I don't have to sort them at all. i like placing the pieces - not so keen on the sorting
regarding sorting space - i think about 20 boxes are needed rather than the 7 provided. i'm only doing 400 piece puzzles and using all 7 boxes. i can't imagine even trying the 800 piece puzzles. also, it would nice if pieces sorted on the left and right hand side of the puzzle box didn't get jumbled up when exiting the puzzle.
A piece placed in the middle should not lock when it has nothing to lock to. Can't be easier said than that.
Thank you all!
Thanks for understanding. Roger dodger, over and out!
