Also, sometimes, some pieces are stuck at the active zone. (When i tried to change to another active zone, those pieces are still there). They can't be move or rotate too. To fix this, i have to reload the game. (It's a bother if i tried to play at 800 pieces puzzle though)
We are checking your scores. You have 15 puzzles completed and 900 coins, this matches with all the initially unlocked puzzles at 60 pieces. Please, confirm us than that is your progress at this moment.
What do you call the active zone? The box below the board? And, what do you mean when you say that you reload the game? You exit and come back or you restart the entire puzzle?
If it happens again, it would be very helpful if you could send us your saved game, located in "%localappdata%\Super_Jigsaw_Puzzle_Generations" or "C:\Users\Your-user\AppData\Local\Super_Jigsaw_Puzzle_Generations". Please, compress that folder and send it to info@flatcatgames.com
Thanks for playing!
By reload, i mean back to title and the press "Continue" without resetting it.
Hmm, yes, the box below the puzzle is what i called active box.
Also, i sent the folder. I hope it will be helpful.
Sorry, bad code :). Fixed. Please, update the game and confirm us that you can unlock the puzzle.
Thanks for playing!
It sounds like that is a Steam error. There is no recent update that can make that happen. Try to uninstall and reinstall the game from Steam.
Thanks!
I was playing Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Cities standalone earlier with no issue, I then purchased your original pack and monuments pack, and now none of them work, same error with all of them.
Update
If I uninstall Generations the three packs I have will work, but only one time each, I have to restart steam if I want to play the same pack a second time, If I have Generations installed along with the standalone's then none of them work.
Sorry, we are not sure to be understanding the situation, please, confirm these points:
- When you speak about original pack and Monuments pack, do you mean the DLC for Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Generations, or the individual games?
- You say you were playing SJP: Cities with no problem until the first time you download Generations, and since then:
- If you have SJP: Generations installed, Cities stops any time you launch it.
- If you uninstall SJP: Generations, you can launch Cities one time without issues but if you launch it a second time, it crashes.
- What's the error you are getting? Only "The program has stopped"?
Last night I was playing the Cities pack, then I decided I wanted to try SJP: Generations, The game loaded up to a screen that said DLC and I noticed that the packs I had purchased as standalone were showing in Generations, then i got a message, Super Jigsaw Puzzle: Generations has stopped working, Windows will try to find a solution and the screen went white.
I tried to get back into SJP Cities and I got the same message, So I tried the original and monuments packs but I got the same results.
If I delete the three standalone puzzles then Generations will still not run, but if I delete Generations the standalone puzzles will work, but only one time, then I have to restart steam if I want to play again.
As you have already seen, the classic SJP games are connected to the DLC of the SJP: Generations. When you buy the game in the store, you are also buying the corresponding DLC. But the games are downloaded and work separately, they are not connected to each other, so the installation of one should not interfere with the operation of another. Maybe some Steam file has been corrupted in some way. You can try something:
- Delete all SJP games from your Steam library
- Clean the Steam cache (Steam> Settings> Downloads> Clear Download Cache)
- Reinstall one of the games, for example the SJP: Cities and check if it works correctly.
Thanks for playing!
When I use Shift+Tab to open the Steam screen, I have no mouse pointer.
I hope this can be fixed.
Thanx for the fun game ! :)
