Auto-Zoom Function?
I have seen videos where there is an auto-zoom onto a unit firing or getting hit. I'm assuming these are just marketing video shots and not a game function. Just checking.

The close up graphics are so good in this game, but in play you have to be zoomed out. Unfortunate there is not some way to meld the two.

Or am I missing something in ver1 and 2beta?

I think this would be a nice feature, but no doubt their focus is on higher priorities at the moment. Some will say you don't have time to zoom in, but i think there are some moments you can do that if you want to as i have done so. But if this gets implemented down the track it should be part of the replay where it would get used the most. This would also make spectator streaming matches where someone is giving commentary, being able to jump to a units point of view with a press of a button to catch some of the action on the ground or even from the nose of a fighter plane would be awesome. Maybe even stay in this view point and press spacebar to jump to another part of the fight where a new alert is given.

A shell/bomb cam would be great for replays as well.

Perhaps an option where it would do a temporary pause, then zooms in to show the show and hit sequence, then you can either un-pause or it does so automatically. Shame not being able to be able to watch, as some times the visual is very impressive.

If you click space when a notice pops up, it takes you to the unit (or objective) mentioned. Is that what you're talking about?

I think no he wants to select a unit and there be an auto zoom camera follow hotkey

How is there no option to lock the camera to a unit? I would want to be able to have the camera follow a unit and still have the freedom to zoom in/out and pan the camera around, for example to follow a tank battle or a dogfight in replays.
