Game is dead?
Thought bout buying this game - but read many reports about gamebreaking bugs & rumors, the dev had left the game without fixing these - are there any news/sources?

It seems to be dead, quite funny but I would not expect too many improvements. I bought and have mixed feelings
I bought it awhile ago when was still active and only recently played it. I did finish the whole game and would have continued as like a sandbox mode, but some issues make it a bit annoying. I wouldn't say I found any game breaking issues though. The issues I see don't seem to occur until late game so early game was more fun.

I agree with other person...mixed feelings about it. It put in just over 50 hours so I guess I got my monies worth but most games I put more hours into.

I just head the same thing.. wtf?! @devs can you confirm that we wasted our money please? I would like to make sure i NEVER spend a euro on you ever again.

Just to let people know.
It's not the dev or game is dead, it's the publisher behind the game is dead.
making it more difficult for the one man dev to get control.

I really really hope the dev can get his hands back on the game in whatever constellation possible. I really want to play and recommend this game in a better QoL / bug free state.

So it looks like Merge Games, the studio that USED to own the IP divested the IP to

https://store.steampowered.com/franchise/silverlining

these guys. Merge went under, but SLI is still alive.
It is unclear whether that means ANY funding at all will go to continuing this game, ever, or if they let the dev develop it further or what.

This may seem weird to ask here, but like...could someone maybe get in touch with them and find out?
Do we start a petition or something? This is clearly a great game waiting to get its final launch sorted out with a bit less bugs and a bit more publicity, but holy smokes is the niche this game is in wildly underserved and I really, really would love for it to succeed.
And, of course, the SOLO dev that made it. What an achievement.
I definitley agree with runner, Also this game has so much potential which can translate to a DLC (there you go SL monetary incentive). I shall sign this ethereal petition
very sad =(

Out of nowhere the game just got an update. Seems like the devs are back in business.

How can we contribute do you guys have a discord? Any plans for AI to help tune and fix and add features? What about multiplayer - imagine managing your empire with friends!!!
