Why cant I start a New game?

I just bought this game, installed, loaded it up. Menu shows New Game>Tutorial/Start. Tutorial has a non-visible white box which is against the white menu background, this box can be checked/unchecked. The start button doesn't even react to clicks with Turtorial On/Off.

Am I dumb or something?

I've tried clicking all over the screen, pressing enter, everything really. I'm able leave that New game Menu, back to the Main Menu. I'm really confused man

I've found that if the save game name is the same as an existing one, it wont let you start the game.

try entering a name for your game into the white box, the start button should work after that.

This was the issue, thank you so much dude! I clicked around a whole a lot more and found the name box.

There was literally no indication there was a box there to input a Name for the save. As you can see in my uploaded pictures, its white on white background..
