income vs costs and early game

so I managed to survive the major´s 1st attack. so far so good. I got customers, weed rolling out.. but on gos green earth do I really make a profit ?
it seems costs are in no wy related to income.
I have three mopeds that are out constantly I got a stockpile of dope. I got customers waiting. and still my cashflow seems to be negative.
my costs as listed on ledger is 816 / day. my sales were 1600. so how come I am not making but losing money ?

Try sending weed to scrapyard to build up points to get stuff , scrap the mopeds and get few cars , also set up laundromat and the cash will start coming in

Also dont employ any security or engineers , just have one cleaner and rest working in factory, do away with the lights completely to save a fortune , only use the lights once u start to make money after youve expanded the grow

Also in the dispatch screen change the drug menu for leaf from bad to good , with no light by the time its processed it has reached 2 stars making it good , once your established and earning u can get lights on the grow then change on drug menu for leaf to excellent

So much bad advice.

I got bored and tested a few different ways to build for cash.

Best one is no Fronts. Completely ignore them. This game is badly balanced with a ton of AI issues.

1) 2 free plots (Make sure to buy one with a road) Your 3rd Plot will be your 1st buy since you'll start the game with about 8k
2) Upgrade the Order Hotline 3x.
3) Create 3star pot. Don't sell 1 or 2. I usually start with 10 plants.
4) Target timed orders. You got 4 mopeds
5) Focus at scrapyard for cars. If done right early Day 2 you should have it.

All your doing is making 3star cheap pot and expanding your base. By Day 10 every other day you can pay 15k and expand your base.

Thats it.

I don't know. I make $20k+ every day with my fried chicken restaurant selling food and meth. I don't bother with deliveries anymore.

At this point, I'm just waiting for an update. After you start rolling in cash, there isn't much to do.

Isn't that more late game? Haven't tested the cloudy meth as much to know exactly those numbers.

Usually at 4 stars you only sell 10 meth. But then again late game Day 24+ I think the meth game is the way to go with the chicken shops.

Laundry bring in only 3-4k a day.
Doughnuts probably a little more.
I refuse to build these due to it only being pot and not meth.

Money and space you put in to build 2nd tier and Amazonian pot just isn't worth it.

Same, I didn't bother with laundry and doughnut shop. But I did unlock amazonian cannabis however it's possible to do without it and just wait till you get enough cash to start building meth lab and start delivering those as you get around $4k for completing a meth delivery. And then focus on building fried chicken restaurant. And at the restaurant 1 box of meth sells for $835.

I think you spent a lot of cash expanding base. I only have 10 employees in my factory :D

So i'm making about 8-10k on phone sales each day with cheap 3star weed.

Tried this with the other weeds and it doesn't run as smoothly. Only using lights saves cash and less worry about engineers.

I went Chicken and Meth along with still selling the weed.
Took about 5 days just to get the cash for licences, Chicken Store, and equipment for meth.

It's a crazy amount of cash to start. But it did pay off.

The 4 star Chicken Store I was running for 2 days did roughly 16-18k each day. I could see maybe getting 20k but its very close to what you said. Couldn't get it to 5star for some reason...... is it counting the drugs we can't create ? Might have missed something.

Problems with Meth are two things
1) Tons of cash to get that good start. Would be interesting to try a starting game where you go hard for Meth. Maybe get cars and then go straight into getting enough for meth. But thats the #2 problem

2) Meth takes a little bit to create. I was running 3 of each machine to get enough Meth to sell at the store and to phone sell off/on. My guess is that you need maybe 2 machines to have enough Meth for each day.

Now I almost want to do a game where I go only Meth. :)

I've restarted at least 10 times and finally made profit with my actual save. So first thing is I don't even bother to do deliveries of basic green in the beginning. I just build my factory and started to produce green and sent my guys straight to the scrapyard to unlock the car. Then send my guys to university to unlock automatic grinder, drying machine and toasted weed. It's actually more profitable than amazonian, IF you have 3-star toasted ( Cause right now it's only possible to make 2-star amazonian which sell less than 3-star toasted ) Once you have that you can start to make good money. Have 3 cars. Prioritize timed deliveries, it brings you 2000$ with toasted weed. But don't only rely on orders. You can sometimes have only 1 order a day. So you should built a tiny laundromat, you don't need to go big at first, then fill it with your product. Try to built it not too far from your factory. Don't forget to click on the cash register to set up toasted weed and nothing else, because costumers will ask you for green or amazonian or meth, if it's allowed in the register but you don't have it in your storage store then the costumer will be upset. Upgrade the laundromat once you can. Now you have a stable income of money no matter what happens. I now have a full upgraded laundromat that bring me 5-6k a day. I am about to set up a meth lab with my 200,000$ profit made in 45 days ! Don't be afraid to invest in the laundromat, it will save your business in the beginning.

So first thanks to Lunasol for bringing up this Meth build.

So far here's the numbers....

Started 3 lots with 5 farmers and 1 engineer.
Paid for 2 upgrades on Order Hotline - Since you are not starting a Front immediately and going straight to Chicken you need some income. Paying 10k investment gives you that nice kick later where you can sell Meth while building your Chicken Front.

Day 1 got Cars

Day 3-4 got Meth starting to be created

Day 5 1st sale of Meth through Orders.

Day 7 Bought Chicken Licence

Day 9 Chicken Front ready to run

Around Day 7 I completely got rid of the pot and went fully into Meth.
Day 7-9 were all about Meth Orders through phone.
4 Meth Stations
2 Meth distills
1 of everything else

I'm down to 2 cars that now run without much down time.

Day 7 $$$ - 10k
Day 8 $$$ - 10k
Day 9 $$$ - 12K

Next day will show the start of sales from the Chicken Front. I'll post them when im done testing. But so far this may be the best way to start. Still running with only 6 employees at my base which feels weird but its working.

Day 11 $$$ - 18k (1st full day with Meth)

This is with a 2star Chicken Front.

Day 12 the licence is fully upgraded. Not sure if I can get all the equipment in though.
