Ghost Games
So I love this game and horror games in general, but I'm looking for something else now. I'm trying to get away from cosmic horror, demons, and retro-slashers. I want something with a haunted house or just anything with ghosts. But I don't want some cartoony crap with primitive graphics. I'm talking something on the level of this game (or its predecessor). What would be the ghost/haunting equivalent of the Lust series? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There's a game called Summer of 58 which I enjoyed. It's very short but it's about a haunting and features ghosts. You'll only get about 2 to 3 hours out of it tho.

The latest Fatal Frame game launched earlier this month. It's very much a ghost game. Only played the first two on PS2 but they are good fun if you don't mind high levels of Japanese guff.

Teenage girls in skimpy outfits. The games aren't actually horny, I just find it sill that they wouldn't dress more sensible when exploring haunted places. :LizzyD5:

Layers of fear 1 and 2. Maybe wait for upcoming remaster.

Is the new one actually a remaster tho? From what I heard it's more of a mix of the two games and they haven't really explained what that means. It's also not Team Bloober working on it since they are currently plugging away at Silent Hill 2.
Only played the first one and it was pretty good. Very heavy on the jump scares tho.

I hate to support an indie developer who is known to be...less than truthful...but
The Lost Crown series has ghost hunting as its major mechanic. It relies on real world devices, etc., and has a fairly realistic setting.
