This remake is FANTASTIC! PLEASE do Guardian Legend next!
You folks have done an absolutely AMAZING job on this remake! I'm super impressed! I'm definitely following you to see what else you put out there in the future. If you ever got your hands on the license to The Guardian Legend, it would absolutely make my whole freaking millennium!

Keep up the terrific work!

I don't think Sunsoft is participating in this. It's my belief that inticreates has the rights to the name. When I beat it I'm going to record the credits and compare it to names of sunsoft employees I have in a book and the name from Guardian Legend, Blaster Master, Darkman, and Gimmick, and Trip World.

Alright I did some digging and the two guys who are credited from Sunsoft are Shohei Sakakibara and Shigeki Shimizu and I didn't find them in the credits from original NES games. Sunsoft is a nuanced business and was a branch of an electronics company just Masaya. Whoever wanted to follow the leader at Compile (who made Guardian Legend) all moved on to Compile Heart which is a fully subsidiary of Idea Factory. I know very well all the old guard of game devs know most of each other in Japan, but it doesn't look like Guardian Legend is going to happen. Blaster Master gets new life breathed in to it because it's easy money for these stake holders.

guardian legend is good, it doesn't need a remake

That's like saying the original Zelda for the NES was good (it was!) it doesn't need a remake. Or Blaster Master was good, so it didn't need one either.

If you're a fan of Guardian Legend, wouldn't you want to see it in its best presentation possible?

None of those needed remakes
The NES version is the best presentation possible
They should all get sequels

No I'm serious
You come across really young to have such a naive attitude that good games need remakes when they're already made and already good

Bud, buy what game? My physical library goes all the way back to Atari. You really shouldn't try to bait while drunk. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

You do realize this wasn't a complaint thread, right? You're a strange one, to be sure.

Wow, you really did your homework on all of this. I appreciate the time you took to look all of that up. It's a shame you're probably right though. It's just that this team did such a great job with Blaster Master, and Guardian Legend was one of my favorite games from back in the day. I could totally see them working on a project like that in a very similar way.
