Does this updated rerelease fix that bug that makes it almost impossible to learn

Time Gate is 18/18 now i had 22 wind 27 water and the skill menu said ?????? after i leveled water 1 more i got the spell so not totaly sure if 18/18 is correct or its just half buged that you need too lvl 1 more if you are allrdy higher then the requirments....

the 18/18 is correct, but if you have water and wind both higher than the original requirement just level up one of the spells and you will get time gate its just a game mechanic that will also happen for justins - dragon king slice ( Gadwins skill after he left the group ) if your sword fire and earth skill are higher than the requirements you just have to level up one spell and it will unlock.. but be glad the remastered version is much easier in this case because in the original on PSX time gate was a water/wind 99/99 spell so muuuuuch of grinding xD

I just escaped the Grandeur, so I should be able to unlock the Icarian Spells now. After Feena gained a level of Earth Magic she learned Tree Of Life and strangely End Of The World, but Time Gate remained locked, even when I gained another Wind level.

Will try it again later.

After a couple of tries of leveling different elements I couldn't get Time Gate. But when I used a healing spell (in the field, not in a battle), she learned Time Gate.

That's what I was referring to, I read somewhere that the 99/99 was a bug that escaped notice and was never fixed before they shipped it out the door. And honestly, 18/18 is p*ss easy to grind.

They nerfed time gate requirements from 99/99 down? What a pity :(
I was grinding for it on PSX for a few replays without much issues.
18/18 instead of 99/99 and someone still fails to obtain it? Oh these youngsters' :D
Time Gate is a complete gamechanger, so having it at 18/18 would make it all too easy.
