Petting event always failing?

I love the demo so far, and have a lot of fun with my new dog and meeting the potential datees, but I cannot seem to complete the reassurance event? I hold over Cheeseball and move my mouse back and forth as fast as I can, but it always fails, leaving me with a sad dog.

Am I just not getting how this works? I have no problems with the dog, poop or pulling events

Hi there! If the dog is cowering, you need to repeatedly pat (click) them to reassure them. We'll work on making that clearer. Let me know if that works!

Oh! Click repeatedly! I thought I had to click and drag. That is probably it then. It still gave me ++ mood half the time I failed tho

I had this issue and also didn't realise we had to click, not drag and pet. Maybe putting in "pet quickly by clicking" or something similar would help clarify? I'm not sure how common this is an assumption

(Love the demo though and I'm really excited for the whole game!)

Yeah, I love the mechanic, but a better initial prompt during the intro would help

Yep, this was pissing me off. I was petting the dog every time but it always said that I failed!!!
