Other games like Gray? ( Not on Steam )

So...I'm maybe 75% through Gray. It is quite clever, psychological, has great scenes etc.

Anything else kind of like it? Platformer, VN, RPG...Idc. And the reason I ask NOT on Steam is because I've exhausted most of my options here.

Not in that combination that I know of... There is a second part in development by the same dev, available on patreon! There is a ton of dating sims with similar CG, maybe check out F95zone.

If I had to name one great sad psycho story it would be "To the Moon". And there are the obvious candidates: Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Life is Strange, Limbo, Papo & Yo. Oh, and GRIS (which also means gray...)

More sex mixed with gameplay: Nier:Automata, HuniePop, Mirror, Otaku's Fantasy (1st part, NOT the 2nd). I liked the (original english) writing of Wolf Tails and it has nice spicy scenes. And, sorry, but I love the Deep Space Waifu series bc it's just simple fun. :)

A very hard game is Haydee which also comes with nice optics but basically no story. It requires you to be clever with backtracking and path finding, combined with shooting and platforming. Played it for > 100 hours and still don't have all achievements.

My friend was / is obsessed with Haydee. LOL

Nice suggestions but I was looking maybe for some NAMES of 18+ titles NOT on STEAM. Might already own them but...

I don't think there are. Let me know if you find any! Look at it from the perspective of an author: if you have a deep, psychological game you want as broad an audience as possible, not restrict distribution by adding some spicy scenes. And if you have a great porn adventure you don't want to limit your audience with difficult platforming. 3-in-a-row clickers seem to be the exception...

Porn (per definition?) has a stupid story and stupid characters. It's just difficult to form complete sentences describing lust. :) I had the same experience with Hentai, the juicier it gets, the more stupid. Whereas good Mangas do without explicit scenes.

Gray is also on Nutaku, that might be a good starting point. I just think these games are money grabs. There are so many better things you can do with 20 bucks... If you want porn, go on a free video site, and if you need a good story with that, close your eyes and make one up. Or read books. :)

I guess Gray is pretty unique.

Outside of Steam, there are a TON of adult platformers. However, it is difficult to sort out the good from the crap.

I'm not aware of any magazines or websites that review adult games. And I read comic books. Comics aren't just for kids ya know...

Ya ya, comic books, I know... fanfox.net has pretty nice mangas/hentai. I've found a few games scrolling through f95zone, e.g. search for "What game do you consider a masterpiece?" or look at peoples signatures. I guess Dreams of Desire is mentioned a lot, Melody looks good, and a lot of incest stuff which kind of makes me sick. I'm currently playing "My Girlfriend's Amnesia" - one sex scene after the other... er... lacks on the funny side.
