Still not done?
So this game came out in Early Access March 2021, It's March 2024. Did the kickstarter money dry up or something?

What are they doing over there? Is this game coming out this year done and done?

I have and still doesn't explain why a game like this takes this long to make? It's not like it's Balder's Gate 3.

Yes but these guys weren't game developers either, and probably bit off a lot more that they thought thy could chew.
At least there appears to be some end in sight.

Comparing this to BG3 is just dumb and downright laughable. Hundreds of seasoned devs vs a small team doing what is actually a great job…. Jog on.

4~5 years is a pretty regular dev cycle for a small indie team.
0.9 out very soon, and after 0.9 i think 100% out 1.0 full version.but about 1.0 i dont know how olng we waiting..

maybe we know about 1.0 date in the next dev diary

By the end of the month, they said.

I'm waiting for the full release in order to play this game from beginning to end, when will this be done ?

This whole comment section said they don't know. We're not sure when 1.0 will be released, in the current schedule, we're thinking 0.9 later this month. 1.0, I'd probably bet June/July.

How about Palword, Subnautica, Stardew Valley, Hollowknight, Hades or Rocket League? Any of those comparable or should I keep going down the list of indy game studios with team smaller than Studio FOW that made a game in less time? Two of those were made by a single person by the way. I mean I can keep going with examples if I really need to, but Studio FOW aren't pioneers by any stretch of the imagination and treating them like they are is well....you said it, dumb and downright laughable. Half the work is animations, which Studio FOW has plenty of experience making.

The real issue is early access, Steam never should have done it. Paying for a product that isn't finished just removes all incentive to actually finish the product. They already got your money and have no legal obligation to deliver anything.

Subnautica took 5 years to make
Palworld took 3 years
Stardew Valley took 4 years and a half to make (And has been in developmen for 10 years)
HollowKnight took 3 years to make
Hades took 3 years to make
Rocket League took 2 years.

(Sources, I googled it)

Wow Its almost like you defeated your own argument.

Games take years to make.
Subverse is at 4 years and it coming to an end. It's a little slower but you act like it's that big of a difference. because a game didn't enter early access doesn't mean it hasn't been worked on for years before you even HEARD about it.
