Start the game from a new save or not?

Hello everyone, I have questions about the game, the last time I played the game was in August 2023.
So can I pick up where I left off or do I have to start a new save?
And when version 1.0 is going to be released, do you have to start from a new save?

I've had no problems picking up from older save game.

You should have no trouble using your old save-file right now.
But when it launches it's 1.0 version you will have to start anew because a lot of the systems will receive an overhaul.

Might as well just wait a couple of months, because it'll now launch officially in 2024.

I doubt it will be "couple months" if the game is to be what was promised.
If not ... then it might.

My uneducated guess is it'll release end of November 2024.

You will need to start anew with 1.0. the old saves won't Work anymore.
