Would like to know also. I expect the controls to be the biggest hurdle.

Steam deck was introduced while Subverse was in development, Right now priority focus is on the 1.0. release of Subverse.

There's a community control scheme that works about as well as you can expect it to, and hits 60 FPS about 90% of the time. I'd say its def deck compatible at this time. Def worth it now that there's cloud sync and 'possibly' (but won't complain if it never shows up!) controller support at a later date.

This is correct, Controller support will be worked on post 1.0 among other things on the list of things to do like translations.

I understand. Just curious about user feedback and any workarounds that maybe required.

Good to know there is cloudsync that helps.

I have a Legion Go & I would like to play this game on that. To that end I would very much appreciate full controller support sooner rather than later. Until then the community control scheme will suffice. Do you know where can I get that community control scheme?

What version of proton makes the game run best on Steam Deck? I can deal with the community controls, but the cut scenes all stutter and/or glitch out with audio only which makes it hard to play.

it seems to support the steamdeck resolution but it still displays black bars

After playing a bit more it honestly plays fine rn. I didn't change the proton and had no trouble with videos for some reason?

Just use a community control scheme that has different modes for grid/space. Biggest thing that needs improvement is 16:10 support and text to be more readable in general.
