Subverse is a 3D graphics game compared to those 2D graphics animations which is closer to the cheap A.I. generated stuff that just gets stretched or animated like Nikke but are actual still images, its very different.
Also StudioFOW had its roots in animation and not gameplay creation, while what we do get does feel quite decent even if it left you feeling like there needs to be more (Space Marine 2 does the same)
All the game examples you mentioned and compared Subverse with have a single gamestyle, while Subverse provides tactical turn-based combat + arcade gameplay, while Kaiju Princess and others have only one of the two Subverse offers, obviously they'll have more content in that aspect.
And really with no disrespect and honest desire for you to find a legit game to compare Subverse with, I ask that you name a 3D graphics game on the same quality level.
Not to mention Subverse also has additional mechanics like the gallery/photobooth, which offers more view angles but also needs more development than animated still images that offer only a singular view even if in motion.
You might think that's unlikely but: https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/Steam-Hardware-Software-Survey-Welcome-to-Steam
Regardless of game quality and how disappointing it is that vast majority of sex scenes are not related to actual gameplay, the official launch was shafted before it happened. (I see people mention Wild Life; you know what's objectively better that Wild Life did? not pissing off massive chunk if not the majority of its playerbase)
At least with payday3, it wasn't 100% obvious that the launch was bad(the game was actually okay; people crying it's not payday2 are cucks) until it actually launched.
Only thing i really dislike about the strategic battle portion is the complete lack of info when mousing over things. I cant see enemies current hp, can't see how much an attack does, cant see what a stat boost does.
We do get an indiactor visual of how much hp we remove when we attack but numbers would a been nice.
Talking about delivery...
