Save system

Could someone point me to an explanation of the save system in this game or the lack of. Seems no way to go back to a previous save.

With the transition into 1.0, A wealth of new systems was added including new Cloud saves.

But because of the new systems which includes Tarons Store, Outfits, Levelling Waifu rewards, Tarons Shop, etc, A general save wipe was done to prevent corruption and crash's, As any saves prior to 1.0 will not be compatible.

Unfortunately, there seems to only be one manual save slot.

In case you didn't mean to move the story along and just want to jump to a backup save? Maybe to retry story missions that you can't replay?

Why not? It will be good is there are more save slots in the game.

I think I found it. Its within the Steam install folder under user data. Its a couple folders deep and should be named "SubverseSaveGame001"

Thank you for that. This save system ruins a good entertaining game. After twenty hours of play and you make a mistake you have to go back to start and redo every thing again. Realy Devs what where you thinking or mabe not.

They really should just implement a way to back out of a story mission and return to the ship. I think that'd be a better solution. Either be sure to bring up how you think this can improved in the feedback thread.

Also found some more under your users folder here:

that should be the location but i wanted to make sure so I backed up the save, disabled steam cloud and deleted the folder, surprise, the save was still there

Gotta start all over from beginning? Seriously?

Why the hell is my old save not working anymore on 1.0? I have played 40+ hours on previous version which I think pretty much near the ending. Now I have to restart the game from zero after 1.0 update?
