The UE4-Subverse Game has crashed and will close

I get this error and I can't play the game. My version of DirectX is DirectX 12. I don't understand why this error occurs, I tried all the ways to find it on the net but it doesn't work. Someone please help me :<

what GPU do you have, and do you have the latest drivers for it?

Intel Iris XE Graphics. I've updated the latest drivers

yeah did you at some point download the game from an alt sorce then dowload it from steam? beacasue their might be some old data from the alt dowload some where in your computer

I played the previous crack 1 time then I bought it on Steam. I played the previous crack 1 time then I bought it on Steam. It's strange that the game progress is still there

Progress/config is not stored in same folder as the game files. It's stored in "Appdata/Local/Subverse/

I had this issue in another game. The only solution i found was to go to properties -> Under 'Launch Options' type in: -dx11

This lets you launch the game in Direct X 11, and the character models should be OK. But the background graphics can go to ♥♥♥♥.

Locking this thread, Its been necro'd from 2022, And the information is long outdated because of the save wipes 1.0 had for cloud saving and the transition to new systems.
