Also the save file location will also automatically generate backup save files alongside your original save files in case of this kind of issue.
The backup save files should be created with the following suffix "Backup-Date-Time-Version"
Example "Subverse Save Game Slot 2-Backup-Apr 2 2021 12_10_04 PM-Version_"
Thus far, those who have reported lost save files have had issues where the Subverse folder was newly created, indicating the folder was deleted by accident or overwritten in some way.
