Tim Pool. He has a news site that was also called Subverse and he was upset that a porn game superseded his network in Google search results.

Or perhaps I should say had. It seems it's since collapsed from some sort of unrelated trouble. Either way nothing ultimately came of the controversy.

No they changed the name from subverse to timcast, and love or hate they guy his news agency has only gained in prominence, the only real controversy aside from the failed subverse lawsuit where in Mr Pool received an education in trademark and copyright law, (and as a result they changed the name from Subverse to Timcast and continued business as usual), was as of a few weeks ago Timcast is being sued because one of their reporters ether unknowingly or knowingly used someones copyrighted photo without permission, but otherwise they are a prominent and financially stable independent news outlet. All the real controversy and drama comes from Mr Pool's personal life.

TLDR: He is quickly becoming a detached elitist prick obsessed with rubbing shoulders with the powerful and the influential. and he wants his "genius" recognized by elites of society. he sees himself as a general in the culture war who is building culture and fighting back against insanity, but reality is he is just another egotistical prick with too much money who forgot were he came from and wants everyone else to do his work and take risks for him. Also he HATES anime avatars and V-tubers to a blisteringly obsessive degree.
