i mean subverse is a actual word so unless his name is actually in the game he had no chance of being associated with it
link?
Tim pool is primarily known for his journalistic work, who does independent stories, but also has work in other media including games.
He copyrighted a IP 'Subverse'. Unfortunately he did not extend that internationally. Since the devs are in manchester, they outside the jurisdiction of US legal codes, sort of.
Apparently he tried to get in contact with him, and they rudely brushed him off. Now he's deploying a legal case against them.
People arn't happy. I too, am not happy.
are you telling me this guy made the word "subversive" ?
subverse
Verb
(third-person singular simple present subverses, present participle subversing, simple past and past participle subversed)
Copies from my earlier post on this:
Subvert is in common usage, but the adjective is never used and is considered an archaic form of speech. You claim the copyright.
He framed FOW Studio as thiefs and showed no evidence for any crued correspondence.
And im not that stupid to believe a left journo everything, he is normally a good reporter, but he goes for money now, and that shows allways your baddest attitude...
And fact is, UK trademark isnt US trademark. There is a reason for international copyright...
