When you watch the trailer you can easily assume that this is a harem game by both visuals and wording they use so this is kinda scummy move. Also people can come here and say 'muh there is tech trees! muh you can skip!' the thing is even when you don't go for that scenes or skip it, it still happens in the game, you just don't watch it. devs already wrote that there are dialogues and implications on that. When you know others bangs your waifu via dialogue then its is not really different than watching it. Yeah there is no NTR but others are definelty bang your waifus and you will know it. I wish couple of the waifus at least stay exclusive to captain but it doesn't seem it's the case. I decided to cancel my pledge and wait for steam release because of this. If there are at least some waifus can stay loyal and exclusive to captain I would surely buy the game but if all of them banging other dudes left and right regardless what you do or choose, I will probably skip this one

Personally, I understand all these concerns. For the record, as a gamer, in my own play through I have absolutely no interest in seeing anyone other than the main character, who is my in-game avatar, getting busy with the girls. (A true Harem game, would be just fine with me)

I'm only saying this, so you understand where I'm coming from.

The developers have heard this request, but for the record they are getting a lot of different requests, though by far, this is the most common one on Steam, with a somewhat distant second being issues about studio69 exclusivity.

I think they're trying to do the best they can to make a lot of different people happy, this is one of the pitfalls of the type of design they're engaged in, where instead of catering to a specific demographic, it's attempting to reach multiple demographics.

I think the fact that they come from being an animation studio that made all kinds of different titles, with Subverse being the first major game design under their belt... this is one little snag that many gamers are going to complain about.

I truly do hope they're able to make it where people who don't want to watch the girls with anyone else, besides the main character, are able to get what they want.

I also hope that is many fetishes as reasonably can be accommodated and allowed on steam or able to be addressed, because I want everyone to be able to have fun.

If you are a pledge, the best thing you can do to make your voice heard, is to send a comment to the developers through the FAQ page for pledges, or to leave a polite comment on the kickstarter.

I can pass on the message here, but I don't think anything I say will communicate exactly how much I've had feedback on this issue.

Either way, I still want to back the game as I feel it's the right step forward for interactive entertainment, and even if it doesn't perfectly suit my preferences, I'm still going to be able to enjoy the scenes that do and skip the ones that won't.

No matter what your opinions are, I want to thank all of you for your interest and support, I'm glad that people are here talking about what they want and don't want in the game.

People need to stop twisting the word waifu as having a unique definition, it means a dozen of things for a dozen of people ^^v Your tastes are yours, but do not use that as a shield. As for exclusivity, if interactions are all player's choice, especially after loyalty quest, you can probably reflect the degree of exclusivity you want.

Honestly, "waifu" does have a fairly specific definition, both literally and in common vernacular.

Ironically, I do not think that is what the Studio had in mind when they used it.

From what I gather most of the people are only asking that "captain-only" access be POSSIBLE. (Or girl/girl)

Given the format, I find this entirely reasonable... Doesn't mean it will happen, but at the very least there shouldn't be any NTR.

I don't think throwing shade at them for asking is merited.

Haha funny because i only lately learned about cuckold but i was aware of NTR for quite a while. Meaning of NTR is all over the place especially when abbreviated like this but this is what i googled and i think its accurate :

1. Netorare
It's basically hardcore cheating. The MC is usually a female and the story is basically a cheating and she's having a thrill because of the immorality.
