Remember, you heard it here first.
I get it you want to play a female character and tinker with her looks. That stuff is not gone mate, you will still be able to do that in the final game.
That's not what this game is about.
You seemed to misunderstand the story and how you'd play as both the man and the woman.
However, RPing as a female while being female in RL is going to appeal to a lot of the population...
Also, it's pretty weird he would even say that in the first place.
You should have seen the little boys whining on the Subnautica: Subzero forums. After mocking everyone who wanted to play as a woman in the first one, and the ranting of 'it's only pixels!' and 'You never see yourself!' it was awesome to cut/paste their screaming in the first forum, back to [usually] the same people in the second.
Because in the second one, the main char was a woman.
Entitled idiocy is a problem everywhere.
So crazy they whined about playing as a woman. Good grief, people. Do you scream when you play Metroid as Samus?
