Wild Life

Is there a way to "buy" this?
I don't like the idea of subscription Patreon is for, I'd like an option to pay for a copy in a way Kickstarter let us, but to actually go through and get the game in the end, on release. Wouldn't Early Access work?

generally devs on patreon will have a "pledge x amount total to get the game on release" not sure if wild life has anything like this, but their kickstarter had it listed at $35

Yep, we have the same offer there. But its 30$ instead.
So a total support of 30 on patreon will grant you the game once released.

from what ive seen in the demo already 30.- is a fair price especially for the full game .. it's actually right in the sweet spot for game prices imo

Don't think they will put it on early access for a long time. If people can just buy it on early access, they would most likely see no use in keep fund them on Patreon month after month. When they collect over 100k usd a month on Patreon, that is something they don't want to stir the pot to much with I guess.

Hmm, if this game fulfills that potential through a full fledged experience, I'd pay more than 30 for it, but very nice price point for early access to launch. I will even say many of those adult animations are AAA quality. I wish your team the best on this.

Early Access is a great way to mess up everyones first impressions. And by the time of the actual release after 1 or 2 years in Early Access, the game might have built up a bunch of negative reviews and negative feedback, bad word of mouth for something that doesn't represent the finished product. And in the end not be as successful.

Early Access is a plague on Steam and no game should release with it, unless it is something that is very very close to being finished like the "Early Access" for Hunt: Showdown was.

If you judge games based on someone else's review then that's a you problem. There's plenty of EA games that release into amazing games, so again, you being picky has nothing to do with a system that you think is bad.

Except it's not just a "me thing", I dont judge a game because it's early access personally. But you have to use your common sense here. A huge portion of people, even a majority of people look at the store page and if its mixed or negative, they keep looking. That is if you aren't clued in beforehand on what you want or what it is you're looking at. Compared to when someone enters a store page and sees a 95% positive rating, that's going to pique interest.

Again, you might not think this way but you can be sure alot of people do. There is a reason that publishers don't want to publish sequels for something with negative reviews and stuff like that.

Publishers don't give a flying stick about reviews, if it sold well it's gonna have a sequel most likely, that's a terrible comparison. There are games with bad reviews yet multiple sequels, because they magically sell, blindly or not, they still sell.

No access and no demo is also a great way to mess up impressions entirely, especially with gamers like me, and I don't care about reviews, I care about how well the game runs, and actually is. Hence I will always find a demo if there's any legal way possible.. let alone do not mind Early Access games if they are done right. This game has some of the best movable camera positions with well running adult animations and fluid physics in 3D gaming history, and is not even in beta yet, they should share this with others to see it, and currently, they really aren't.. It sure would be promoted as hell if it had proper Early Access..

Yeah if ppl give them money on Patreon for an unfinished game why bother releasing a real game. I refuse to give anyone money on Patreon or GoFundMe..... You just can't trust anyone not to be a scammer.

I don't get why you're arguing with the dude on that point. A store page full of negative reviews will always hurt a game more than help. Do you really think it has no effect on a games sales when their steam page says "Mostly negative"? People aren't keen on spending $30+ on games that have been mass accepted as crap releases. If sales weren't dependent on people that are easily influence, marketing wouldn't exist at all.

I can see if you're arguing that "EA will always equal bad reviews" is a bad take. If you're actually throwing a good product out there, EA shouldn't go too bad. Early access will rarely hurt a game that's actually fun or headed in the right direction imo.

Smart move given how many western porn games are literally just scams. That is to say, you'll have an easier time finding a tea totaller in a bar then a western erotic game that uses Patreon as a platform that isn't scamming people. I'll leave it up to you whether that applies to this game (well, animation viewer more or less as of the moment) or not.
I will say that Patreon should change it's model. Or have it so that people can't use it to grift people off of "games" they will release "some day soon". Stringing people along with an update every 4 months once the dev runs out of money for blow and hookers. At the very least, people who use that platform should learn to use their money better. Hard to say who's worse in this scenario, patreon pay pigs who aren't smart with their money, or people for taking advantage of them.
